Bachelor of Science (BSc) in IT in Mechanical Engineering
Duration and scope of studies:
3 years, 180 ECTS
Admission exam:
Mathematics or Informatics
Summary of the program:
The study program IT in Mechanical Engineering lasts six semesters and is in line with world higher education trends and state-of-the-art developments in this field. As the study program is compatible with study programs at many European universities, students are provided with the opportunity to participate in mobility programs and spend part of their studies abroad.
The study program focuses on educating and shaping competent professionals in the areas that encompass basic natural sciences, engineering disciplines and the application of modern information technologies, which are essential for the field of contemporary mechanical engineering.
By completing the study program, students gain competencies required for following the technical development in the field of Mechanical Engineering and Information Technology and will have the opportunity to work in numerous branches of industry, become experts in diverse areas of mechanical engineering at the position of production engineers, machine designer, maintenance engineer, etc., as well as in the fields of information technology at the position of IT technicians, computer programmers, web developer etc.
Upon the completion of the study program, students can pursue their academic career by enrolling in master's degree programs in Mechanical Engineering or Information Technology at different faculties in Serbia. Also, due to compatibility with European study programs, students have the option to continue their education at master's studies abroad.
Why study IT in Mechanical Engineering:
• Because the wide multidisciplinarity of the study program enables easy employment
• Because by completing the study program, you will have the opportunity to work in numerous branches of industry
• Because you will gain an excellent foundation for further professional development
• Because a wide range of employment opportunities are waiting for you
• Because you can spend part of your studies abroad
• Because you want to be a competent professional in the field that blends basic natural sciences, engineering disciplines and the application of modern IT
