Lena Tica was born on October 31, 1985 in Čačak. She was awarded both her bachelor's and master's Degrees in English Language and Literature from the Faculty of Philology, University of Belgrade, in 2009 and 2011, respectively. She completed her doctoral studies at the Faculty of Philology and Arts, University of Kragujevac, in 2022 and obtained the title of PhD in Philology. Since October 2009, she has been employed at the Faculty of Technical Sciences in Čačak, first as an associate at the Department of Social sciences and Humanities, and then from 2014, as a teaching assistant. Since 2012, she has attended numerous national and international conferences, giving presentations on ESP and Anglo-American literature. Her current interests span topics related to ESP, Community of Inquiry, CALL, contemporary drama, identity studies, memory and trauma theory. She is a strong research professional with practical skills in academic administration and coordination, acting as a Deputy Erasmus+ coordinator at the Faculty of technical sciences since 2019.
